School Class of 2007, is making impactful strides in the healthcare industry as the Principal Strategic Relationship Manager at Blue Shield of California. His role involves steering the overall strategic direction of Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) in Los Angeles and Orange counties, focusing on optimizing proven value-based care arrangements for better patient outcomes. With over 12 years of experience, Mr. Harris possesses a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape. He has worked extensively with health plans, hospitals, federally qualified health centers, medical vendors, and community-based organizations, implementing holistic health equity approaches that yield positive outcomes. Mr. Harris’ leadership extends to his role as the head of a comprehensive Medicaid workgroup, addressing the sudden impact of COVID-19 and developing robust work plans for wrap-around services, such as non-emergency medical transportation, housing vouchers, and food delivery. Mr. Harris’ commitment goes beyond individual patient care; he envisions transforming communities and dismantling deep-rooted structural biases within the healthcare system. Focusing on health law and policies, Mr. Harris is actively pursuing a Juris Doctorate at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
