Kristen Kish
Class of 2002
Kristen Kish is a proud alumna of East Kentwood. Upon her graduation in 2002, she attended Le Cordon Bleu College of the Culinary Arts in Chicago.
A Korean-born chef, Kristen is best known for winning Season 10 of Top Chef on Bravo, but she’s also held positions at several reputable restaurants across the country. Formerly serving as Chef de Cuisine at restaurants Stir and Menton in Boston, Kristen is now Executive Chef at Arlo Grey at The LINE Hotel Austin in Austin, TX. While the majority of her time is spent in restaurants, she found time to publish her own cookbook, Kristen Kish Cooking: Recipes and Techniques, and has had a couple of other media stints, including co-hosting 36 Hours on the Travel Channel, guest judging on Top Chef Jr., competing against Bobby Flay on Iron Chef, and appearing as a guest chef on CBS Saturday Morning. |
