Wendy is a Chief Avionics and Mechanical Engineer at GE Aviation and is also a proud parent of Kentwood Public Schools graduates. She has been an energetic proponent and champion of local and regional robotics programs for nearly 10 years here at Kentwood Schools, and has been instrumental in growing the KPS program from just a handful of students to over 100 students and volunteers today.
Since starting with the program, Wendy has volunteered countless hours and solicited many other volunteers to move forward our robotics programs K–12, as well as being a strong advocate for “Girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math)” projects. She has also raised an impressive $100,000 plus in donations from local businesses to give our students the opportunity to learn about robotics. . |
